Document Everything
As usual, everything on the trip this year will be documented.
This may come as a surprise to those who have not traveled with us before. If you are camera shy, you won't be for long.
Every year I try to up the stakes of the previous year. So this year I have gotten my hands on over 50 tiny cameras that can be attached to various places without people even knowing it. I see nothing going wrong with this idea...so if you see something that looks like the photo below in the bottom of your cup, on the bill of your hat, or at the bottom of a toilet, please leave it there.
The purpose of this documentation is to capture the golden moments of life. Here is a perfect example from a few years back:

This was my first blog. How did I do? I'm really insecure so tell me I did great please.

Destinations
It's official. This is my first blog ever.
I think it's safe to say it's all downhill after this year.
Let's review our trajectory of land based destinations thus far:
2009:
Thunder Bay Resort - Sauna-like bathrooms. Free Pool, water extra. Extra Dog, free.
2011:
Wisconsin - Northern Bay - Super nice, spacious, on the golf course, but lacking any actual fish.
2012:
Big Cedar Lodge - Governor's Suite - Non-stop activities, 2500 square feet, guide boats we can cheat off of and a bachelor party?
Really? We're at this point in our lives? Yes we are.
Considering where we've come from, it's a true honor to be writing this.

I'm going to keep tweaking the looks of this blog and I'm also going to see if it's an easy endeavor to create a website for the fishing trip as well and hopefully just incorporate this blog into it. The plan is for everyone to have access to post on this blog, whether it be an all new blog post or a reply. So it's pretty much just going to be a blown up version of our normal emails leading up to the fishing trip.
